I fished this morning in an area that I had fished the day before. But this morning in two different spots were these square containers roughly 4x5 ft. They were in about 5 ft of water w the top about 2 ft below surface and waited down with sand bags. Just curios what this May have been.

Should have reported them to TPWD. They could have just been perch traps but you never know these days

I saw one just south of the 515 east boat ramp..but it was in about a foot of water with the top sticking out. This one was all wood though. It was close to a point just south of the ramp.

catfish boxes that were poorly done? I know some people build and sink boxes to handfish out of...
