hey all,
got to drop a friend off at dfw airport early morning trm and google map tells me lake grapevine is close by so I am thinking about doing some fishing after I drop him off.

i have never been to grapevine before so i'm looking for a easy to access bank spot close to the airport to catch me some fish.

thanks for any suggestions

noobfisherman, on the texas bank fishing map there are several places in the area listed.

http://tinyurl.com/6rwrnz9

my recommendation would be the church ponds (number 252 on the map) that are located on the map at 360 and 121 just west of the north entrance to the airport. if you are not into the ponds, look at mcphearson sleugh (number 220 on the map) and make your way from the dock down around past the boat houses.

good luck, let us know how you do.
