TO braid monofilament for bite tippets quickly.
1)tie the desired # test line to a swivel.
2)loop the open end around a snap-swivel at the bottom so there is the desired length of bite tippet between the swivels.
3)bring the open end back up to the original knot, at the same time twisting it around the segment between the two swivels MAKING SURE THAT THE SEGMENT DOES NOT TWIST WITH THE OPEN END!
4) Once at the top, thread the line once more through the swivel and repeat step 3 except bring it to the bottom.
5)Thread the open end through the bottom swivel once more and tie it off, or, for added strength, repeat steps 3-4 as many times as wanted, then tie it off.
note: this trick is not only for bite tippets. It works for anything that needs to be braided as well.
I have a tank of fish in my basement... if it were up to me, I would let them loose in my pool so I could fish in my backyard!
