I'm do a little fishing this week and I know the water should be warming up due to this good weather.....I'm thinking of throwing a senko with a pinch weight about a few inches above it...in a nice size pond. watcha think? or wat should I be throwing?

That's what I was throwing yesterday.. but instead they were little Rattle Snakes and Ring Fry's..


I didn't have any luck but the wind was killing me..

I actually have been doing good in the local ponds with the brushhogs as well, but instead of t-rigging them, I have used a split shot, similar to the senko setup you described.

The Senko rig may work,but don't overlook the possibility of agressive fish,chunk a rattle trap,spinner bait a other assortment of fast moving baits and get those guys that want to play first then cover the area with your Senko and get those that want a slower presentation!!Heck you may want to throw it weightless,pay attention to how they hit ,that may be your clue as to how they want it.Let us know how you do!
