I am really new at this so if I make a boo-boo, let me know. I was fishing on Calaveras two days ago and developed a problem with my motor. A gentleman fishing near me stopped and asked if I needed any help. At that time I thought I had the problem and told him I was OK. Turns out after I fixed one problem, another cropped up. The man stayed with me until I had my problem fixed and limped back to the ramp. He followed me all the way in, then just left. If he is reading any of this, I want to say thank you for caring and I will definately pass on the favor if needed.

Welcome aboard! What most people forget is that we are on the lake for leisure. Helping someone out doesn't hurt anyone at all, and most fisherman will take the good karma, hoping it will come back around at the end of the fishing line! Glad to hear someone helped out. Steven

I'm originally from Morgan City,La, but lived in Lafayette, La. My dad would have kicked my young but if I ever saw someone in trouble and didn't do everything I could to help. I'm 60 years old now and I remember the lessons well. Thanks for the replies. Hope to see some of you on the lake. Is there a decal I could put on my boat to point out who is a member of this site?
