Everyone is focused on solving the problem with the police. I agree that there is work that can be done there. But how about we address the criminal culture that is becoming more and more prevalent here?
Let's not forget how this all started. First, a guy decides to steal by printing off phony money. Second, when he got caught he decided to fight with the police instead of taking his medicine.
In my opinion, as long as it is considered acceptable to be a criminal, there is no way police can effectively do their jobs. Lets also not for get Mr Floyd was also doing two controlled substances Meth Amphetamine and Fentanyl In public high on drugs, passing counterfeit bills and acting belligerent at 6-5 and 260 or so pounds. So its going to take a bit of force to control a man of his size. What happened to him was totally unjustified but he also didn't help the situation and he was certainly old enough to know better.
