In a boat? If you wade near the SLP bridge..make darn sure you gotta couple PFD's on. That place has already taken a few lives this year. I don't fish that place so I can't help with hot spots.

The spot isn't nearly as important as the structure, tide, water depth, and presence of bait it. Some spots are better than others, but scouting is a better way of locating fish. Smart people head out with a game plan but can quickly adapt when it doesn't work or a better opportunity is presented. Like if you are heading to a redfish flat but trip over schooling trout on the way, fish that bite until you get your fill and then move on. The flat might be dead, and you'll be sitting there regretting not busting those schoolies.
