Where to go in Rockport

I'm going to be headed that way the last weekend in July/ first day of August. Looking to fish around Mud Island, Traylor Island, etc. Where and when should I go? I wanna get on the water at sunrise and fish till mid afternoon, just want to know what spots are producing.
