One of my friends got some frogg toggs for a port mansfield trip, and they got multiple leaks and were filling with water.

Gator waders are on sale right now. Set I’ve got has been good. The frog togg set I had started leaking after the first trip. Depending on budget there’s several in the 250 range now that are decent.

Stocking foot with wading boots are the most comfortable. You don't need or want insulated.

I believe Magellan Mag 2 waders are probably your best bang for the buck. I’ve had a pair for 3 years now with no leaks used sparingly. Always stored the hanging up but in the garage. I think storing them folded up causes a lot of issues.

Lower priced Simms. If you just go occasionally they should last forever. I have a pair of the G3 that I probably used 4 to 6 days a year. They are 20 years old. Never leak.

Tributary are on sale. Reg $199 now $149.

I wear wading boots over the stocking feet. You'll need 2 sizes bigger than you would normally wear. I wear a size 11 wading boot and a size 13 with waders.

These are what I wear, like Jerry said 2 sizes with waders. I've had them over ten years, still going strong. Much easier to wear than the ray guards.

X2 on Simms.
High quality, they stand by their product, and after owning Orvis, Cabela’s and a bunch of others, Simms are the only ones I would 100% recommend. I use them hard on the coast and on Rocky Mountain streams and lakes. 2 years going with zero problems.
