Galveston surf?

Headed that direction this weekend. Probably closer to Sea Isle. Will only be able to fish the surf for a few days. Looks like rain all day Friday but sunny on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone been out there lately?

I was out there a couple weeks ago in Sea Isle. Did not see much bait activity within the 1st bar. Water was murky and had waves constantly. Not much seaweed, but with no bait in the 1st bar, it was tough. I went to the bay and fished. But I'm sure if you chunked some cut mullet or something big and let it soak, you'll come into something. I just never had the opportunity b/c of kiddos. Good luck.
