Palacios, Texas Guide Recommendation

Hey Folks,

I am planning a trip to Palacios for a get-away with the wife. I am a Crappie / Bass guy out of a kayak (Hobie PA14), but would love to so some saltwater fishing. I have no idea on what lures / bait to use or how and when to us it. I thought I’d get a guide down there on the first day to learn some stuff, then go out in the kayak the next two days.

I’ve read and watched so much YouTube, but I still am uneducated on how to catch fish in the salt. My wife and I went to Corpus one year and tried doing it myself, but didn’t have narry a bite.

I have no friends who are saltwater fishermen, so the guide seems to be the best bet. Can anyone give me a good recommendation.

seems like a good guy, we have the same boat and I asked him some questions regarding his trolling motor setup I saw on his boat and he took the time to take some detailed pictures and share them with me..
