Hermit crabs or fiddler crabs and walk up and down the pier all day

Add to that the common periwinkle snail. Found throughout the Gulf on seawalls. If you look at Freddie (the sheepshead) - he's hunting them. They absolutely are 100% guaranteed to be attacked fast.

Love me some sheepshead. I have done well on them in the Corpus area. The jetties have a slew of them and they are often overlooked. Saw two monsters well north of 20 inches pulled out of a pier on Baffin Bay the last time I was down at the beginning of the month. They are especially fun on the fly rod even if they are not keepers.

Love fishing for the Sheep Heads. Good fighters on light tackle.
