Capt. Nathan's Wade Fishing Report; Seadrift, TX.; 7/16/20 - 07/17/20 01:20 AM
We had a fast start to the morning, but an hour and a half in when the wind started to die it shutdown. Making a couple of adjustments over sand/grass along with the major feed period we were able to find another solid bite with no boats in sight. Working from waist deep up to thigh deep over sand/grass along with shallow sandbars we found fish waiting to inhale Down South Lures kickin chicken, blue moon, and a few on blue chrome topwaters.
With the return of the SE winds forecasted the trout bite should become easier to patterns and will bring back our much needed water. The rise in water will in turn allow us to fish many different areas that slowed in the production of fish under our low tides. Give us a shout to get on the books for July-September.
It's always nice to just go fishing, and release fish throughout the day. Gotta release that winter stock!
