He finally did it.

Today he landed his first limit!

Something he has been striving to do without my assistance (other then driving the boat) for a long time now. 7 hrs never quit till he did it. No help from the old man. One of the best days I have had in a long time! Now I need to teach him how to clean his own fish!

Thanks for the replies my son read them and was happy. The little guy is ready for his first wade trip now and he is really excited! He has become my best fishing partner.
