Sabine Pass

Sabine Pass - 01/01/20 07:44 PM

Big Uglies, and Bull Reds, made for a fun day to wrap up 2019! Caught and released Big Black Drum and Bull Reds on a beautiful day with some really good friends. One outgoing tide all day long. Live Shrimp on the bottom caught everything, mostly in 6’-8’ of water. Sabine Pass, water was in ok shape. Sabine Lake, water was much clearer. Luckylindycharters.com

Nice fish
Hope to be on water this Saturday 4th up at Coffee Grounds and Middle Pass looking for Specs. Once Spec bite dies going to try and find some sheep head over by the rig structures just West of Coffee Grounds. If get lucky maybe some big red and drum will be their as well.

That first redfish looks like something had taken chunks out of it’s back.

The other side of the Redfish looked a lot worse. A big chunk of meat was missing. There were porpoises in the area, we figured one tried to eat this Redfish that barely got away. Hopefully if this Redfish was hungry enough to bite our line, it might make it?
