Fun filled day at the POC jetties. The husband and wife team getting it done!

We were lucky enough to stay on a few fish. I had a blast fishing with these boys in the CCA Mid-Coast Guides Cup. We pulled out 2nd place stringer and 1st place big flounder! Congrats team Speedy Stop. With tides still up, most of our fish were found on top of big sand flats, or within 3 feet of the bank. A few good trout, and 7-8 nice flounder were found in creeks leading into marsh areas. Our best bait was Down South Lures blue moon.

This family group from Fort Worth decided to battle the big ones yesterday, and with some good weather forecasted today elected to sight cast reds. We were fortunate enough to chase a few small groups down the shoreline first thing this morning.

It seemed the later in the day it got, the less active the fish were. Many reds fell out to 3/4 foot of water. One thing was certain they couldn’t resist the DSL victorious secret and white ice.
