Anybody been catching trout in surf

Just looking for a surf report anywhere close to Surfside

I just got back. I went down Friday 7/06 and came back Wednesday 7/11. I was staying and fishing in Surfside Beach near the water tower on Yucca Ave. The water is super clear. I could see my feet while standing waist deep. It was hit or miss each morning and evening. I tried several lures but caught almost all of the Speckled Trout on a 3/4 oz. gold spoon. Some mornings it was 2 or 3 large Speckled Trout. The best morning was Sunday from 6:30 to 10:30 am - I caught 35 Speckled Trout, a Spanish Mackerel and a few other fish. Sunday morning it was overcast and my location missed the rain. The surf was super calm that morning too. It was the best I have other done down on the beach.
