It took us a couple wades to locate them this morning, and when we did it was an aggressive bite from solid trout. Water colorwas clean to a small greenish tint, and was loaded with rafts of finger mullet.

With the early morning cloud cover they want DSL chicken of the c, then when the sun popped out it was all strawberry wine and dirty tequila. Both the 4” and super models worked today. Most fish were holding in thigh deep water with scattered sand pockets.

All fish over 23” were released for another day. Give me a call, shoot me a text, or check out our website for open dates and pricing. We have availability for May-July. Get on down here and become a part of the action!

Thanks y'all. I try really hard each and everyday to stay surrounded by bigger trout and in areas that could potentially be my customers next personal best. I am not saying there is anything wrong with what I call keeper size trout, but so many of my customers are repeats and do not always keep fish, therefore I try to hunt big ones. Yes bigger fish may mean fewer bites in a day, but the bites will be the right ones. I know San Antonio Bay is not known for big trout like many other regions along the Texas Coast, but after what I have seen over the past couple years practicing these techniques i will say we have some great fish. Maybe not in constant numbers like Baffin or East Matty, but I have seen 100's of fish over the 7-8# range and probably 30-40 over 30". Like I always joke with my clients, you fish in there backyard long enough, we are bound to catch one!LOL
