Sabine Lake, Solid Redfishing - 05/05/18 03:24 AM
Redfish in Sabine Lake has saved the day for me all this fresh, muddy water year. Some Flounder here and there. Specks are starting to show up a little more frequently, but the Redfish save the day every fishing trip. The more the wind blows, the better. The rain can't make Sabine Lake any fresher. So, what can hurt catching Redfish from now on? The good thing about Redfish, they will hit just about any artificial lure you throw in front of them. And if you get tired of casting, you can put almost anything alive or dead (Shrimp, minnows, crabs,etc...) and toss it out there. Fishing marsh drains, flooded grassy shorelines, and rocks or shell bottoms will just about always produce some hungry Redfish. I can't wait to get into some steady Speckled Trout fishing. It won't be long until the Jetties catch on fire. LuckyLindyCharters.com
