I have a 999 on the bow of my boat and it is connected to the US2 on my Ulterra with ipilot link. I have it set on dual beam as I do not use the SI or DI. Last time out my depth on the unit was all
over the place from 1ft. to 100ft. setting in 10ft of water and the sonar screen was filled with trash. I was not sure if it is my US2 transducer or the 999 that was the problem. I have not been out since but my remote for the Ulterra which shows the depth was showing the same depth as my console unit. Thhs make me think that the problem is the 999 not the US2 transducer. Any comments?
