I have a broken 859 CI HD that Humminbird wants $550 just to look at. I think that's about what it cost new! Anyway, does anyone know what the current model equivalent is? The transducer is just the standard one in a Minn Kota Terrova. Thank you!!

The current replacement is the Helix 9 CHIRP GPS G4N. It has standard HW CHIRP for 2D sonar, but you can dumb it down to use 83/200 kHz that the Minnkota US2 has.
There is an in-between 700 series and 800 series model in the Helix====Helix 8 CHIRP GPS G4N. It has HW CHIRP as standard also.

Thanks Wayne. Is there not a 7" model that would work? I already have brackets for that size unit.

Yes a Helix 7 and a Helix 5 will work, but neither is "equivalent".
