Minn Kota Terrova

Just got a new trolling motor for xmas, Minn Kota Terrova, how or what do I have to buy to hook it up to my megascan fishfinder so I can get the best from it. Is there anything i have to buy xra, do do like follow contour lines. On videos I see that I dont have the remote that is in color. Any help is appreciated.

Did do get the iPilot LINK model?
What built-in transducer does it have?
What is the whole model name of the "megascan fishfinder"?

Says product # 1358805, Terrova 55 lb. / no FP / i-Pilot -54, just going off website, came into work. So didnt get to see really, wasnt expecting it and just showed her at night. She just remembered and got it. My fish finder is a helix si GPS gen 2 Megascan. Helix 9

There is nothing on that motor to connect to the Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N to do anything.

The color remote is for the iPilot LINK motors.

No, the wireless remote talks to the iPilot via Bluetooth. Maybe you can link a mobile device via Bluetooth also. READ the manual.

I had a chance to look at it today, I wanted to connect it to my fishfinder, but I dont have any extra cables from the control head.

You need the I pilot link to connect it to your graph, your model has just the I pilot, which will provide you the spot lock feature and other features on your motor only. You can buy the I-pilot link and add it to your trolling motor but it is around $800 if I remember correctly. The I pilot link lets you connect your graph to your trolling motor so they can communicate with each other.

The i-Pilot you have is a self-contained GPS system that is operated via a wireless remote.

There is no way to connect the Terrova you have to your graph.
