Deeper Pro +

First off, bank angler here. A buddy of mine dug up his old deeper Pro+ and gave it to me since he doesn't kayak anymore. He's gotten spoiled using the livescope on his boat. Has anyone had much luck with the deeper? Apparently there's 2 apps for it now, deeper sonar and fish deeper. Has anyone used both and is willing to chime in on the pros/cons of one over the other? Much appreciated.
