Panama January 2025 – Tuna, Billfish, Inshore

We are leading a group to Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge from January 4-10, 2025. It will be our fifth trip after we return for the fourth time in May 2024 (that trip is already full). It’s world-class service on a private island with incredible food, World Cat and Freeman Boats, and first class tackle. The trip also includes an overnight stay in Panama City. All you add are gratuities, expenses in Panama City and international airfare.

Whether you’re a first time saltwater angler or a seasoned veteran, this is an amazing trip – it’s prime time for marlin on the Hannibal Bank, there’s excellent inshore fishing for species like roosterfish and cubera snapper, and plenty of yellowfin tuna around – you can even fly home with a cooler full of fillets.

Panama is safe, it’s easy to get there (direct flights from a wide variety of US cities), and we take care of all of the details.

We have all four boats reserved – no more than 4 people per boat – and about half of the spaces are currently taken. Singles, couples and groups are welcome.

It’s not inexpensive, but I promise that it’s worth every penny if you can swing it. Email fishmore@halfpastfirstcast.com for info on rates, etc. I know it’s a year away, but the lodge books up that far in advance and this gives you time to save and plan. Happy to hop on a phone call to discuss more.

Sorry I missed this message. Where's the best place to send the info? Or can we set up a call?

We have filled 12 spots (3 boats) but now we're looking to fill the 4th and final boat if possible.
