RRHS BAPS 2022 Offshore Charter DSH Port Aransas Saturday Aug.6th

Hi folks, it's now February 2022, I'm posting up, if JP doesn't mind, the 2022 offshore charter fundraiser for the RRHS BAPS on the Kingfisher out of DSH in Port Aransas, Texas.

As the title states, charter is scheduled for Saturday August 6th, 2022. We had great trips in Aug 2020 & 2021, and hope to do the same this year. It is a 12 hour charter.

Cost per person is $240 based on 20 fishermen/women. Charter cost went up $600 for a total of $4,500 based on 20 going, so we have to increase total per person to $240 at 20 people. Charter cost=$4,500 20X $240= $4,800, $15 X 20= $300 ( fundraising amount)

We would like to keep the charter at 20 spots,but will discuss options if need be.

Same as 2020 & 2021, all money goes to DSH & BAPS, NO money goes to T.O.O.

Feel free to look over the post from 2020 & 2021, same everything except it's $240 instead of $210 due to increased charter cost & return of previous captain of KF..

This will be a tuna hunting shrimpboat run & gun trip,(and whatever else swims by), if the boats are in range. They were within 3 hours last two trips.

One other change, Captain Bradley fulfilled his contract & left the KF. Captain Marvin now is running the KF again, which is good if we bottom fish as he knows a lot of spots that Captain Bradley didn't.

We'll start taking deposits March 1st, Right now reserve spots by posting here or email and be ready to pay the deposit come March 1st. Email is the only way to reserve spot(s) privately. PM's won't work & your email will be seen a lot faster.

Deposit of $100, due by April 30th, balance due July 8th, 2022 will be $140 based on 20 going.

If we have less than 20, the difference will be paid by all to get to the 20 person total of $4,800.

Gonna be a great trip, fast boat, good crew, knowledgeable captain and hungry tuna.

I will be there. Tiffany is looking at their schedule because the trip this year is going one week after her company has their week long trip. She's not going on the trip but they get behind and she does not know if it will affect her.

With the announcement of the projected dates for Red Snapper season being June 1 - August 18 I'm excited about the fact Red Snapper might be on the menu for us.

Final result of the RRHS BAPS offshore charter fundraiser.

Presented Tuesday evening to the BAPS general meeting, goal of $300 was surpassed with a total of $600 raised.

Thanks to every TFF that went on this trip and supported this cause.

I tried several years to get on this trip but couldn't make it happen because of my work schedule. If it sails again, and there is someone out there thinking about going, you will fish on a good boat with a first-rate crew. You will fish on a boat at half capacity with seasoned fisher persons. The extra cost goes to a very worthy cause, and the one thing that impressed me the most, Willie refused to leave the dock until each and every one was accounted for. If you can make it happen...
