I won't complain. Most boats coming from northern part of region and forecast is for more wintry mix. Had so many close calls going to work this morning just in my car no way I'd want to pull my heavy boat in this mess.

Has there ever been discussion to just not schedule events in February? It's always the worst weather of the entire year. Start earlier, go later, or just cut an event. Two years in a row now that it has been postponed, and those crazy mommas on Facebook are always griping about their babies having to fish in the cold in these February tournaments. It's just not worth the hassle.

We have in the past. It is hard to get 5 events for every division in during the fall and then 2 months of the spring. April os usually for the Regional events and May for State. With graduations beginning mid May. If we started in early September most teams are not organized yet. So you have that to try to factor. The next option is to cut back to just 4 events per division and then that takes a pretty significant amount of scholarship money away. But it may be the best deal. I am sure we will be discussing it more this summer.

You're right though February is always a [censored] shoot
