2021 Official Weight Loss RESULTS Thread - 02/01/21 11:39 AM
Today is Feb 1st, 2021. I get to be the 1st participant out of 13 of us to post first month results.... Well, here we go...
Weight on Jan 1st - 248
Weight on Feb 1st - 239
I've lost 9 lbs during Jan and it wasn't a simple task. I really struggled at first, but I believe I have finally found some rhythm. My desired weight goal is 215 so I've got a ways to go, and my mindset is right, now. I have increased exercise by walking approx 30mi /week. Once I start traveling again, I will need to adjust my workouts to half walk/half jog and reduce the miles because walking this much is so time consuming. I turned 60 last year. My knees hurt carrying this extra weight and trying to jog, but 10 more pounds lost will make all the difference.
I am doing the 16:8 intermittent fasting as well, and of course, cutting back on consumption of food. My eat time is from 11am-7pm, two meals a day with NO snacking in between. I try and eat by 6pm if time allows, and I'm eating pretty much what I want but just less of it.
It must become a lifestyle change for me and after the first month, I'm getting close to where I need to be regarding motivation, dedication, desire, and commitment. Overall, I'm satisfied with first month's results.
Let's hear from the remainder of our participants in the next couple of days so we can all gain helpful ways in achieving our goals...to be healthier and more fit and to live a longer life without pain and misery and health complications because of our weight. After we all post, it will be exciting to see how many pounds that 13 of us have accumulated in one month. We are on our way!
God Bless,
Okie
