Which way?

Since the quarantine and gyms have been shut down it's evident more people are taking walks/runs. Individually, in small groups, with and without pets. Do you have a preference as to which side of the path/road you walk on?

Growing up I was taught to walk on the side with traffic flow. That changed some years back and the preference is for walkers/runners to go against the flow of traffic. Cyclists are to be treated as "motorists" and are to be given the lane however must obey traffic laws.

I drove outside of my county last week for the 1st time in a month. Came home through Collin county and saw a bit of everything. I ride my bike quite a bit and when consistent will average 75-100 miles/week but I do not consider myself a sprocket jockey.

Personal preference. I do but then again I live on a dead end road.

You like chancing being hit from behind not even knowing it's coming? Walking FACING oncoming traffic at least gives a pedestrian a chance to see what could happen imminently, so jumping out of the way could save your own life.....

That is the rule of thought when walkng, running, or riding on a path in the park but not on the roadways now.
