I got my hands on a Penn Senator 12/0 but I don't have a rod big enough for it. Which rod would you guys recommend for pulling in some bigger sharks with the 12/0?

Land based fishing? If you're fishing the surf get a 10' to 14' rod. I used to drag my baits out with a kayak and drop them so I don't have to cast.

Talk to the people at Roy's Bait & Tackle in Corpus Christi they have Shark Rods already made for sale. If it was me I'd get a Jawbone Xtreme 2.0 Rod blank " Sledge Hammer " 10 ft. XX-Heavy . Get an Alps reel seat, Alps or Fuji guides , A nice rod tip some EVA grips 3 pieces 8" long and don't forget a gimbal butt . Since your already in CC anyway because they won't ship that rod blank . Spend another $ 400 on top of the $ 300 for the pieces to build the rod and have them make your dream rod .
