You get one tag on license. Then you can buy a bonus tag anytime.
We are able to target them year round but it is starting to get good and will be for a couple months on those bulls. I have a lot of customers that want the bull reds specifically. When they running good this time of year they come with both tags and ready to fill em!!! We filet a lot of those big bulls.....
Like anything else yes absolutely a 20" is better eating than a 50" but you do get a ton of meat. We trim out the red blood meat and most people fry theirs, do it on the half shell (grilled scales side down), or any of your other favorite recipes. It really makes a difference how they are handled after the catch and careful trimming out thar red blood meat.
The last picture won first, second, and fourth in the bull red division. And first in the any big fish division.... they won a lot in that tourney....
