SPI in 2 wks.

I'm heading down to South Padre Island in about two weeks. Any insight on whats biting at the moment... plan to fish behind convention center and the jetty. May head to Gayman bridge one day if I got time...

How packed are both locations right now during the week? Best way to fish that jetty?

Any other insight, like closest place to buy bait, what's a dz live shrimp run right now?

Live shrimp is 13 pint or 22 a quart at most places. during the week you should be ok pretty much anywhere.

Not crowded during the week, but weekends can get a little close. Couldnt comment on live bait. Arties for me. Good luck, Quite a few snook in area.
