PortA rockport Redfish/Blackdrum Report

Hi:
Last weekend, I fished 2 days in Port Aransas Rockport area with Garmin Livescope to locate and catch big schools of Redfish and Black Drum.

-Day1 was with Sargent Jeremy; many fun moments locating and catching them on Livescope. The weather was perfect and it showed in our haul

-Day2 was with a friend's son and his friend, a recent Highschool graduates. Although the weather was terrible (25+ MPH winds and strong currents), we worked hard for the fish, and boxed enough for dinner!

I'm still learning how to use Livescope in the salt water, so hopefully, I'll get better at locating them with more experience. Enjoy the video

Me too. I was hoping to get through this year without a major expense for the boat, but everyone of Tim's posts is making that harder.

Clint, it's not all that valuable for bass; but if my plans work, you'll be catching other species before the year is over. Then, LVS is back in the plans!
