" Got'M On " a 61 foot Viking sportfisher sinks after t-boning a shrimp boat going 30 knots. Everybody on board was safely rescued by a fellow boater. Boat was on Auto-pilot captain left helm unattended to measure a Blue Marlin on board the boat while headed to the weigh in.

If the captain actually did what you said...lucky no one was killed. He'd likely be in jail. Absolutely irresponsible to have no lookout while traveling 32knots.

2coolfishing has photos of the boats that shrimp boat had some impact damage.
