shore fishing West Bay

Desperately need recommendations on shore access anywhere in Galveston West Bay or closest best option. Will be down with family from West Tx. and have to get at least one day of fishing in or there will probably be bloodshed. Anything goes. Have mercy.

on the south shore line you can go in at sportsmans road, the state park and at sea isle pier. north shore requires a kayak launched from fat boys, louis' or harborwalk(private).

. What should I be expecting whiting,trout,some reds,occasionally flounder? Standard bottom rigs with freshest can i can get type situation? Appreciate the response
