Feeding Seagulls at the Beach

Yup... I was that guy. But i did it with a 360° camera in hand lol.

Out of a lot of things you can do on the beach I just about every time I go there I see someone feeding the gulls. A buddy of mine could get them to grab a piece of bread
right from his hand. They can get pretty aggressive.

That is pretty dang cool!

We were at the beach years ago and a group of teenagers were feeding french fries to the seagulls . They finally got one of the guys to lay down on the beach and piled french fries on his chest and stomach , It was like a scene from the Birds as several dozen birds were grabbing the french fries and he kept squealing from the birds pinching him through his T-shirt . It was pretty entertaining .

I know, I know... they are rats with wings and I don't disagree. But I could not forego the experience of showing my daughter how they will eat out of your hand. She was having a blast with it.

Funny story on Spring Break when I was a teen. Buddy and I were in my truck on the ferry and these HOT girls came rolling up in a convertible mustang. We start flirting with them and they immediately dissed us. Not appreciating this snotty dis, we immediately started throwing goldfish crackers at their car. They were wondering what we were doing and laughing at first. Then the seagulls started diving in to their car and crapping all over it. We drove off laughing our a$$ off.

Years ago I had one take a lite cigar from my mouth as I was throwing up bread to them. That gull finally dropped it after the other birds tried to get it from him in mid air. LOL

4 of us stayed over a weekend in Clearwater on business. 2 were lounging by the pool. Me and another coworker were in my room drinking beer and eating pizza. I started feeding the gulls pizza crust and had a whole flock hovering right above a buddy on a lounge chair. The first dropping hit the arm on his chair. He looked up and decided to move.
