Giant Snakehead Caught in Virginia

Check out this giant Northern Snakehead I caught while kayak fishing in the Potomac River in Virginia.
This thing was a monster at 17lb 6oz and was only 6oz from the rod and reel certified World Record...so pretty pumped.

LOL....yeah there is a story there man....I was kayaking the days before and had my water sandals on, and let me tell you the sun made my feet beet red. I wore the socks because I did not want it to get worse, but I still wanted to fish. I did it for the love of the sport
