Tawakoni Dinner last night - 01/25/15 01:47 PM

Went down to the shore around 5 pm. Got this nice 5lb Blue cat.

Stayed awhile longer and got a 15.5 in. Blue and a 16.5 in. Channel.

Then I took them home for Mama to cook!

Was fishing in 2-6ft. of water.

Gotta love Tawakoni!

Hi I just moved to Caddo Mills,Greenville area and was wondering if any of tawakoni's feeder creeks are fishable and accessible to just anyone normally I fish rowlett creek or white rock but I'm not ready to drive all that way to fish but tawakoni is only like 10 minutes away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Does the sound of bluegrass help to pull them in?

No, the Bluegrass just makes people too scared to go near my fishing spot. LOL!

Nice post. Especially like the sunset pic over Tawakoni. Lived on that lake for a couple of years back in the '80's. That pic takes me back.

Got a minute or two to go get a couple more!

15 inch. didn't weigh it.

4lb. 21 inch.

Both Channel cats.
Same spot, behind my house. Same depth. Same Danny King's bait.
Danny King's should sponsor me! LOL!
Thanks to everyone for views and replies.
