Jig n Bobber Big Bass

Jig n Bobber Big Bass - 01/21/23 06:13 PM

After watching KidKrappie catch countless crappie in the creeks on jig n bobber, I decided to give it a go and fish like I did when I was kid. Jig n Bobber has proven to be a very effective method of bank fishing for crappie and bass. I’ve caught a number of bass on the jig n bobber in neighborhood lakes. Today I landed my biggest bank fishing bass ever on a jig n bobber fished on 8# lest with light action spinning tackle. I had to walk the shoreline to follow this bass until it played out. I took a few photos and released it. I’m always amazed at the fish that can be caught on small lures and light tackle.

Thats solid! If you got it in public water, you could file for a water body record with TPWD.

Dang green carp are a nuisance when I'm crappie fishing!
