Bank fishing during high water events for catfish

I had several good days at Benbrook catching shad and then using them to catch catfish before this last big rain. Yesterday was a bust though on the catfish because I couldn't find the shad, I had about a dozen and the Gasper Goo and turtles got them. Thinking about trying Whiskey Flats but it is really high. Willing and able to travel if anyone knows of a place that is good in high water conditions. Any ideas?
