Crappie in the creeks 2020

Crappie are in the creeks! Time to get out there and walk the bank with a jig and cork and you may find a limit like today. Check out my YouTube channel below for the video of this catch.

Don't be discouraged by bad days. I fished 3 creeks this day before I found them in this one.

Now it is warmed up and the bite has slowed

I went there yesterday. I went to the wrong side of the bridge and stepped into quicksand mud. I sank really deep and when trying to pull one leg out I fell over in the mud and lost my shoe. Then I lost the other shoe and a sock. then I had to go back into the mud to get my shoes. I finally got them and fell over in the mud again. so, after sitting on a log and getting my muddy shoes back on(minus one sock) I went to the other side of the bridge and it wasnt muddy. but the fish had moved out and no one was catching squat. I caught 2 small crappie..

rain or mud boots. best $22 i ever spent, especially for the fall creek fishing.

The colder the better

Caught a couple this evening, consider that a massive win for creek crappies. Seems to be the world of the haves and the have nots. No keepers, but hopefully some of the bigger ones move in with this weeks forecast temps.

Most places are not doing well with the warmth. All creeks will be loaded after this weeks cold.

Awful quiet in here. Must be lots of videos of limits getting edited. Have been a couple of times since the cold nights, 1 creek had 0 fish, same creek that had dinks before still has dinks.

It's been hit or miss mostly this year. When it is a hit it is a hit LOL

Hoping to get a hit sometime. Mine has been very consistent. I get the same results at the same creeks. I keep hitting up the ones I find dinks in hoping to find good ones, just hasn’t happened yet

Well, it has been cold. I wonder if this weather has pushed some into the creeks?

Yup! I have been doing good in the creeks since the 1st of NOV. Rain will slow it down for a few days though.

Tomorrow looks good to me.
