I got my father-in-law here from Hong Kong who is not an artificial lure fisherman. I got him catching 14" largemouth on 4" senko in chartreuse and light green with a 3/0 EWG weightless. I have been catching on an orange Gene Larew 4" orange crawl with a 1/8 bullet weight.

So far, nothing, but I've only been once this year, and after all, tomorrow is another day!

If Scarlet can do it, so can I!

Depends on the day? I do not target any specific species though. The wife, kids and I cast out 4-6 poles and offer a buffet to start (shad, crawlers, prepared bait, cut-bait) and see what the fish are in the mood for. Then when it's time to start rebaiting hooks we start switching to the bait that is getting the most attention. While the medium-heavy rods are soaking we break out the light rods and have a little family pan fish tournament (gets pretty competitive and lots of s*** talking) but a good way for everybody to unwind and creates priceless memories!
