No fish at lavon dam ever! I repeat do not go to lavon dam just go to your local creek in a week or so! No fish at the dam! Not even if they are releasing in the next week! Stay away don’t waste your time

7 gates were open last tuesday, Lavon over 7 feet, caught monster sandies below the dam

Water was full force on Sunday. Got my boat deep in there. Fished in my boat next to some people standing in the water.

It's not in full force today. They're only releasing about 1,500cfs. I guess the CoE likes 6 feet over full for now. I would be happier if the dropped another 2-3 feet.

I'm sure they loved that.

release has dropped way down to 503 cfs as of 3/12

People obviously have access to a computer if they posted a question on here, why would you not google "lake Lavon water level" and get the real information first hand?

Would someone responding not be getting real information first hand? And possibly along with a fishing report from the dam or that area first hand. Thanks for the rant though it was very helpful:)

The guy I fished next to actually invited me over to where he was fishing. He was hauling them in even with me next to him. I was surprised he invited me over. I was happy to watch him fish it was like a fishing show on tv. Sandbass just about every cast.

Any reports of Striper this time of year? If I want a decent striper session, I see someone recommended Denison? Any good bank fishing on Lavon or Lewisville?
