Anyone been to Denton creek/377?

Haven't been out that way since the spawn last year. I know it's still way cold but I have a chance to finally wet some line again and I'm curious about the state of the creek.

I was out there two weekends ago. Caught 6 crappie, was a slow day.

I'm hoping to take the kayak out there soon. Hopefully the fishing is good!

About to get that time they will be there

Will most likely rise a few feet.

I have never been to Denton Creek but I live close. Any suggestions about access and what are the fishing conditions now?

Is there a place to park and walk in? Just curious for quick after work trips. Thanks

377 and Denton creek in Argyle has a little park you can park and walk in.

I was bank fishing around the TC ramp, Saturday afternoon. Had high water and no fish. However, I'll own up to a limited skill-set as well.

What about Denton Creek at 377 bridge by that bike trail? Are there any spots there close where you can walk in and catch?

Yes there is a place to park and walk in. Look at Google maps in Argyle off of 377. You will see it.

Did you have a fishin pole with you?

Gonna put the bass buster in at TC tomorrow and go up.

The picture-taking was better, but every hour may bring a new reality.

How'd you do in the bass buster?

Not that great but it was a beautiful day. The guys that went upstream as far as they could had limits.

Just got back from Denison..Flood gates are opened.

So they are moving up creek you say? Time to get out there and fish.
