The North Toledo Bend Rendezvous will be held Nov. 1-3

The 24th gathering of fly tyers known as The North Toledo Bend Rendezvous will be held Nov. 1-3 at the North Toledo Bend State Park, near Zwolle, LA.

This event is hosted by the Piney Woods Fly Fishers and sponsored by both the Texas and Gulf Coast Councils of the IFFF.

As usual, there will be many of the very best warm water tyers from across the deep south, and especially from across TEXAS, in attendance, both tying and teaching. This is the very best learning experience in the deep south for fly tyers, because rather than just watching great tyers demo for you, you sit and tie with these tyers!

While the vast majority of these great tyers are members of the International Federation of Fly Fishers and are invited tyers at IFFF shows, membership in the IFFF is not a requirement to attend Rendezvous.

So come on... You'll learn a bunch and have a ball!

Nice park to stay at. Anybody know if there is good grass out in that part of the lake?

My wife and I will be there. We're bringing the travel trailer. Never been there before. Looks to be good weather, too.
