Fished with brother for a couple of days on a great crappie lake. Used several crappie jigs I made myself. Couldn't catch anything. He caught quite a few on "store bought" jigs.

Were you both fishing with the same colors??? Same weight?

A dollar to a donut, your brother was moving slower than you. That'd be my guess anyway. You gotta nearly "Dead Stick" it this time of year. My 2nd choice would be, he kept his jig in the "Sweet Spot" and you were just outside of it.
Brother was at the front of the boat and just had his rod off to the side. He never stopped. As he moved along he would slowly lift and drop. AND . . . it was his birthday week, so it's appropriate that he caught the most fish.
