Paint Courtesy of "Mad Crappie" Jigs!

I received a few packs of Premium Painted jigs a while back from a little "Giveaway" Squeaky held. They are such FINE jig heads I've really had a hard time matching materials to them in such a way as to showcase the beautiful paint job. I still don't know if I've found the right scheme for the heads but I needed to try something! Here's my 1st attempt on one of them which I call "Ruby Princess"

I LOVE these 1/8oz Ultra Minnow's and I have 4 other color scheme's I'm pondering so, more to come! Again, Thanks Jetty for the heads and if you want to see a particular color scheme combined with any of the heads you gave me, PLEASE let me know!

A job well done, and any time the eyes will fit in front of the line jig eye you are looking at top crappie jig heads. Those hooks would work on plastic just as well.

that jighead will catch crappie with nothing on it, where do I get some?

those heads look horizontally balanced, like they will not sit at an angle in the water, thats a great thing.

Also finally someone is making my Glow jigs! Finally someone actually got up the nerve to give it a shot and now is thanking me for the instructions, lol! Heck it's been 2 years plus a little side I posted how to make these and finally someone stepped up and is making some for his self! Vern you should look into that, just saying, lol!

Nice tie, Vern. I remember when Jerry started fooling around with the multi-colored heads I asked him about the air brushing. He said no air brushing here....all done with the "tap" method. Super paint jobs!

Jerry still taps.. Sometimes hundreds a day.. May look into getting my powder air brush up and going??
