You are on a roll. Clean eyes and everything !!!!
Thanks. Read a thread a TFF'R posted, about curing a batch of jigs without busting out the eyes
Hey just a thought here about how I deal with the eye paint. I use a wooden tooth pick that I usually have to use a knife on to make pointed and small enough, but have used same ones for years. I stick that tooth pick through he eye as soon as it comes out of the powder paint and sometimes it takes a couple times, but most then are fine for curing. Now here is the important part, after all that eventually some will close up again when in the oven and if that happens all you need to do is have a small needle bodkin and heat it good and stick it in the eye and it will melt the paint right out of there. I do that when I clamp it in the vise to tie.
Some just hook the jig head with their stats when dipping it in the paint, but not my cup of tea as I don't like having to clean my stats and the tooth picks can be cleaned by using your thumb nail and finger scraping it. However do what ever your comfortable with as that is what matters most!
