Flying squirrel

Tied this one out of squirrel tail.
Gona try it tomorrow.

the tails are ctystal and polar flash. There are 4 strands just cant see them in the pic

That's pretty wild looking, nice tie! I bet if that was a real light weight head that thing would sure sink slow.

Only caught one fish and the wrong kind before i lost it to the brush.

it was a 1/8 head but with so much fur it sank real slow. Kinda looked like a glider in the water. I think I'll try 1/16 head next time. Heres a better pic of the bass

i made 3 more 2 i have in my box im going to try this weekend and the other was a gift to jig man for hosting the jig swap

Uugghh the stumps were were biting faster than the fish. Lost both now im looking for a squirrel to donate its tail for the cause.

You could always buy some tails, they don't cost all that much? Every once in a while I get mad at the ones here and take a few out, keep their tails. Still have too many in my yard as can count 12 most any time they are all out eating, lol! Also if you buy them you can get them dyed colors?

The fish were biting faster than the stumps this time. Heres what the flying squirrel looks like in action
The first bite came from this green trash fish
Then came the crappie
Even the dinks loved it
We even got a double
Then the bigger fish showed up
This is pot lickers pb crappie

And for her to catch it on a jig i tied is the icing on the cake
