Ordered a lake map from Mr. Don!

Had a lake that I have fished a lot but always felt I wasn't fishing that effectively. So after reading a lot of posts I decided to get a map chip from Mr. Don. Just got the initial email stuff and will have the chip tomorrow or so. But just after reading and seeing the attached stuff I am already quite happy. Some of the spots I have fished before are there but have suggestions to fish better. Also places that I've just passed by over and over but will stop and fish now!!

Will keep this post updated with results as I get chances to fish there this year.

What is the web address for those maps?

Is it a Texas or Louisiana lake?

Andy- it's a Texas lake! I'm so fortunate to live near Texas and all the lakes that are close by!!

I want to thank bassmanrudy for putting up a post about the chips and you other guys for all the kind words. This is a good place to give some clarifications on New Lakes or lakes outside of Texas that the LA. guys were asking about. I can do a chip for any lake that has contour lines to find the best 20 areas on that body of water. The link above that Rudy gave has the Lake List that are complete and ready for sale. Only a couple are outside of TEXAS. I do have a few Email Versions of small lakes that have not been called for to build a chip. This Version is only a $100 for some small lakes in TX. and OK.

A first time chip that is not on the list is kinda of expensive. It takes 60 hours of work to build a Chip that probably will NOT be sold to another customer. In 3 years of work those are the lakes on that list that have been called for. A new chip is $500 for any lake you would like and you will have the exclusive for a long time.
