FPH 7/26

Figure I'd go ahead and post up our trip from last week at the big mudhole.
I had to fly in from MO to close on our house, so I decided to make the best of my time and get up early to hit the water.
It turned out to be a great few hours. Bait was easy, they're just about everywhere right now out there.
We got to dragging baits by 5:45am and it didn't take long to start catching. Wound up with a lot of nice box fish and 4 others from 10-27lbs.
21ft of water close to a shallower flat seemed to be the ticket for us that morning.
Sure felt good to get back out even if was only for a few hours. Now its back to bank fishing these rivers up here.

I'm just like everyone else and am ready for some cooler weather! But I believe some monsters can still be caught this time of year. If only I had the time to chase them...
